Anyone else drinking alcohol?

Hiya,

I am feeling really frustrated as i am having cravings at the mo, most are for inedible things-CIF and shaving foam. But the others are for bown toast with marmite-really really strong, and unfort lager-part Fosters

I have been buying non-alcohol becks which im drinking most days-oh what a sight, me at 8am in my PJ's necking becks from a bottle

but it is just not the same as my beloved fosters.I have run out of the non-alcs and from 7.30am i have been dying for a beer-i finally caved in at 3pm and have drunk half a can of fosters but i feel so bloody guilty. I am not wanting alcohol, i am wanting the taste of beer-anyone have this or know why it might be cos im going insania

Don't be silly the odd drink wont harm you or baby. So long as your not getting drunk!

I've had the odd glass of wine at friends weddings and even a half paint of cider at a food fair last weekend.

A little of what you fancy does you good...including the super yummy unpasturised cheese I tried at the food fair too.

People panic too much about the do's and do not eats, the only one you do have to be very careful with is booze and so long as its just one drink every now and then all will be fine so long as that one drink isnt a pint of gin!! LOL

Just stay off the non food items!

I have been having about 1 unit a week all pregnancy. I know opinions differ on this subject but i love a glass of wine and if i want it i'll have it!
It's not gonna do my LO the slightest bit of harm

Thats such an awful craving to have!!!

I have also had the odd glass of wine if I've been out for a meal. OH is cooking a nice dinner for me tonight so I bought one of those small bottles of wine for me to sip on. I'm looking more forward to it than the meal

Odd lagers don't harm baby. I stopped drinking my usual drink of fosters as it was giving me terrible heartburn, i went to pub last week and had a pint of guinness it was horrible then landlord told me there is more alcahol in guinness that fosters think i will be sticking to fosters from now.

I've been drinking 1-2 units every week since I got past 14 weeks. I'm making sure that there are a lot of none drinking days in between and being careful. It's normaly one small glass of wine, 3-5 days off and then maybe another glass of wine or a tiny JD and coke and so on - though I often refuse for a couple of weeks and then really want a glass.

I'm off out for my birthday tonight and I plan to have 2 small glasses of red wine! kinda funny as normally for a birthday it would be bottles not glasses, oh how responsible am I as an upcoming moma!

(My OH has bought me JD fudge for my birthday - clever boy!)

Wonder what it is in beer that your body is craving? My hubby's Grandma was a midwife and swears that they used to tell mums to be to neck stout - can't remember why though.

I'm not drinking but it's because the thought of it flips my stomach - can't imagine ever wanting alcohol again which is good as it'll save me loads of money!

I had 2 small wines at my leaving do last night. I don't think a glass here and there will harm baby at all.

Opinions on this will differ, and it really is each to their own. i probably won't have another now until my friends Hen party on 17th oct, and then at her wedding on 6th Nov.

There is a few good things in beer, which is why our bodies more than likely crave it. I have been craving a beer pretty bad, but haven't had one quite yet. I have NA over in the fridge if I get a hankering.
