Hey everyone. What a long day!!
I got there on time for my appt, but as she is an OB, she got called to do a C-section so it was a little backed up. An hour later, she got called to perform another C-section. CRAZY!
So, my appt time was 2:40 and I got in to see her at 5:20.
BUT,
the good news is that I think the lady is awesome! What a relief. She was really nice to me. I was actually examined by a senior medical student, and he was great as well.
The baby sounded wonderfully, 147 BPM, I measured right at 30 cm, which is perfect for my dates. I gained 2 lbs in 2 weeks, so that wasn't so scary.
The only downside was that from being so nervous my BP was 137/80, but no one commented on it, so I assumed it was ok.
So, all in all, the wait was worth it. The lady didn't scare me one bit. She just seems to be incredibly busy and can come off as "uncaring" if she can't afford to dedicate a lot of time to each patient.
I have a follow-up in 3 weeks.
So, I am one happy person right now.
