For all you ladies who drink tea...

Here in the US it isn't too common for us to drink tea but since I have gotten a sore throat I have been drinking loads of herbal, sugar free, decaffeinated, lemon and honey tea (just started drinking it last night). But since I have been drinking it Ava won't stop moving!!! I watched my stomach for a good 20 mins and I seen legs and feet and jumping/squirming all over the place. She is going absolutely nuts.

Then just about 10 mins ago I poured myself another cup of tea and she started pushing her bum high up into my ribs and poking me in the side and then she just spazzed out and started moving up and down. I swear to you girls that this is because of the tea I am drinking.

Anyone else notice their bubz go crazy when they drink their tea?

Honey is well known for being high in energy, which is probably what is making LO so active, must be quite nice! Lol. I would try to cut down though, you don't want a hyper baby when she comes out! Hehe.

But there are no sugars/caffeine in the tea and it's all natural herbs?

It might be the heat in your belly, i tried hot chocolate before bed to help me sleep and no chance as it made my baby go crazy lol.

I drink a fair amount of hot sweet tea (I can only drink it when it's straight out the kettle, cant stand it warm!) and I gotta say that it doesnt really effect LO. Cold drinks on the other hand seem to really set her off.

even caffein free has a tiny bit of caffein as well that could also contribute but nothing major to worry about

Agree - the temperature (hot or cold drinks) can make LO jump around! I drink alot of tea and haven't noticed too much more movement, but if I drink cold club soda or sparkling water LO gets bouncy
xx

What herbs are you drinking? Just because it's "natural" doesn't mean it's safe. One of the herbs could be causing her to move around more.
