You're meant to go in when it really is absolutely too much to handle, or your waters break. My contractions were every 5 minutes from about 6am (when they started) until about 5pm (when my waters broke). Only then did they start to get closer together. I was 7-8cm when I got there though, so maybe I waited at home too long! lol x |

The say when contractions are 5min apart for at least an hour then you can head to the hospital. But if you'd feel more comfy heading sooner then def do so.
