anti d injection ?


hiya, ive got to have a anti d injection but everywhere i look it says u should have it at 28 weeks i went to see my mw today and shes booked me in for
14th feb but im 28 weeks now, should i be worried ? xxx

I got letter from hosp a couple of days ago I will be 28 weeks when I get mine..I dont know if it has to be exactly 28 weeks? maybe ring & ask your MW?! Sorry not much help!

yh im sure she wouldnt of booked it for then if it was ment to be at 28 weeks, its just ive read all over the internet it should be at 28 weeks, im a bit of a worryer sometimes lol xxx

The internet is a great resource but can also be the cause of so many worries! I'm sure the injection wouldn't have been booked so late if it wasn't safe.

Don't know if this is any help but I heard that now they can do the 2 injections at any time after 28 weeks and apparently that some places only do one injection!
Not sure how accurate this is but I did some investigating as just found out that I need these injections too xx xx

I had my Anti-D injection at 33 weeks, I'm sure you'll be fine.
