 Well erm, not sure about that one, I don't think anything sexual would come close to what they do in a sweep - sticking there finger up in your cervix and sweeping the finger around to separate the sac from the cervix - it hurts like mad and makes you cramp like mad after! And yes latex sterile gloves would be needed! prob not a good idea.I've heard of midwives who are pregnant giving themselves a sweep to induce things, how on earth they reach and are at the right angle I don't know - maybe they learn to be a contortionist first!  | |
