Welcome to babyandbump. The only thing that I know of (that worked for my mate) is sex - - she had her first contraction while she was in the middle of the act with her OH! lol

The reason sex can help induce labour in late pregnancy (although it won't work unless your body is ready) is because the prostaglandins in semen soften the cervix, and orgasms and hormones released by nipple stimulation encourage the uterus to contract.

hiya.... im 35 weeks pregnant..... the other day i was leaking some clear fluid but not much....then again 2 days later.I phoned hospital and was told to go through....they checked me over said all ok and sent me home???............today iv had a brownish discharge again not much..... could this be early signs?....or is this normal?????

Personally i would get yourself checked out...it could be the plug or if you have had an internal this can also give you a small discharge from my experience...
