So yesterday me and DH went to the hospital I go to to get ultrasounds (I go to one for my regular appointments and one just to get ultrasounds done), and I think it might have been from all the walking since i've been mostly at home lately, but on the way home I started getting what I thought were braxton hicks contractions but then they started getting painful and very uncomfortable. So we got home and went to my regular hospital, they checked if I was dilated, which I wasn't, and monitored me for about 3 hours. I was having plenty of contractions, at least one every 5 minutes. They weren't really painful, more like uncomfortable. So she checked me again, I still wasn't dilated, so she told me I could go home and to come back in the morning and see how things were. We went back this morning, i'm still having contractions and i'm still not dilated so she just let me go back home. They're not very painful, just uncomfortable like I said. But I noticed last night that some of the contractions were reading over 100 and the top of the contraction was past the highest line on the reading.
Has this happened to anyone else? I'm just kinda confused at what it really is and how i'm having so many without being dilated . .
