I'm Currently Feeling: | rh negative hiya last time i went to midwife she told me i was rh negative and said id have to have injections , when she booked me in for next appointment she asked me how many weeks i was and i told her i was a week less then i was by accident would i need to ring her and tell her this cos i heard that u need to have the first injection at 28 weeks but when i go il be 29  worrying now ???? xxxx |

| 29 weeks is fine - The full dosage of anti D needs to be administered by 34 weeks (some Health authorities still offer anti D at 28 and 34 weeks, but the dose is split. Most now though give a single dose at 28 weeks, as its been found to be just as effective). |

i am rhesus neg and i have my injection after i deliver my babies i would go with rachie as she knows a bit more if you are worried still contact midwife just to be reassured xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | my aunt had her 28 week appointment there and the midwife mentioned she was rh negative but never mentioned an injection. Shes already got 3 kids and just got the injection after birth with all them |

-Where the father is also Rhs Negative the baby can't have a positive blood group, so the injection is not needed as they won't beforming the anti-bodies against their baby. |

| Hi Hun, I'm RH negative and got mine done at 29 weeks they have changed it to single dose now, and they monitor you for 20 mins after they have given you the injection and they also give it you after you have your babie |
