what contraception??????

Really not sure what contraception to use afterwards....anyone using condoms?? Not keen on pill..or coil

Tis a good question! seein as i got preggers on the pill i wont be doin that again. The coil will make yr periods heavier if your already heavy- not good! I dont want to go on the injection cuz im already fat!!!! mite try the implant thing! OH doesnt really like condoms and its not really natural feeling or far on him! Maybe i should get him on the male pill if its out! Now thats a title for a new thread.... Would you trust yr OH to take the pill!? xx

LOL! No i wouldnt trust him! he he!

Im going on the coil! Not sure about it making your periods heavier coz quite a few of my friends have it and hardly have periods at all! Def better than the nasty evil pill (took me 6 months to have a period when i came off it!) And i wouldnt be bothered to use condoms! x

i think i'm gonna go for the coil

i was off the pill when i met my fella because i was getting loads of strange tummy cramps and thought they were all related, all stopped when i came off the pill, went back on it when i got with him and they started up again

came off it because i couldn't bear the pains and we also thought that if i got pregnant so be it! had to wait for a scan to see what the pains were, by the time i got one through 4 months later i was already a month pregnant, lol

might have to have more internal scans though before i have the coil to make sure that nothings too wrong with my insides (haven't had the pains since being pregnant either)

but defo the coil, was on the pill for about 9 years and i think it's just fucked my body up

I had the coil (IUD) before I got pregnant and it was the ParaGard (CopperT) non-hormonal and when I have him I am getting the one with hormones (Mirena). I was the lucky one to get really heavy periods on the CopperT and MAJOR cramping. SO I am going with the hormonal one which is known to make period shorter and lighter if none at all!

BUT if by chance I get a C-section, I am getting my tubes tied.

I'll definitely be using my Persona again after this baby arrives. It's the best form of contraception that I've found! No chemicals and nothing interrupting any 'natural flow' iykwim!!

Since i was on the pill when i got pregnant and one of my close firends got pregnant while on the implant.. i think ill just have to be strict and use condoms. not keen on the coil. not really many other options! not have sex??

Lol!! Well i dont have apartner so not like im gonna be having regular sex anyways!! But if and when i do have a boyfriend it will probably have to be mr condom comdom!!
