I'm Currently Feeling:  | Back from the Dr.
Hello girls.
I had an appt with my new Dr. today. It went really well. Babies heartbeat was 145, shes consistently been in the 140's, I'm measuring spot on for dates... And the thing I thought was kinda weird, but was happy about, was that I have not gained a pound since November. I was sure that I'd be up this month, since I'm growing so much... But I'm assuming maybe I've lost a bit of weight in other parts of my body, and put it on in my bump? My bump is obviously much bigger than it was in Nov, and every month since then, but the scale has steadily stayed the same. I've gained a total of 9lbs. Is that weird?
She also said that pelvic pressure unfortunately was a very common discomfort in late pregnancy. And I get to keep going every 2 weeks now, until 36 weeks. In the final stretch now!!  |

Very glad to hear that your appointment went well today I'm around the same point as you - I have my 32 week appointment on the 5th February. I've only just started gaining weight, and have put on a total of 7lbs throughout the pregnancy. I think you're right about the loosing weight from other areas of the body - I think that's what happened to me for the first 6 months of pregnancy because I didn't gain a pound but I did gain a bump! However am wondering now if the 7lbs I have gained is baby, or just me putting the weight back onto my bum and thighs?!? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks girls! You always reassure me when I'm nervous. I guess I am lucky to have not put on much so far. Less to worry about losing after she is here. My aunt (who has always been like a 2nd mom to me) wasn't busy yesterday, so she went with me, and she got to hear the babys heartbeat for the first time. She was so excited. She saw one of my ultrasounds too, but she was thrilled to hear the heartbeat. |
