hi everyone, okay so last night when i was at work, i felt like the baby was pushing really hard downwards and my stomach went hard as a rock. it was more uncomfortable then painful. was that a braxton hicks contraction???

Yup, that sounds like a Braxton Hick contraction. You start getting them more often in the 3rd tri. I wouldn't worry hon

I think it was probably braxton hicks yeah. I'd ask your midwife/doctor about it if you're worried

thanks girls, once i came home from work i kinda figure that what was going on! atleast they dont exactly hurt, it was just the oddest feeling

I've been getting this a lot today. It's very uncomfortable and makes me need a wee really badly!

I hope I don't keep getting them for the next 10 weeks!
