baby pain or toilet pain?..TMI (sorry :[)

hey ladies, sorry about the TMI side of this but im just not quite sure whats going on in there today....

ive got this horrible pain in my left side and right down low...babys still kickin away and tumbling away so i know he or she is ok, so im just wondering if trapped wind/constipation can cause this? i havent been able to go for a couple of days and last time i did i had some blood from trying...(defo wasnt front bum blood though i did have a small freak out in the bathroom)....bump and tummy just sore and uncomfy today and im just wondering if am alone or if anyone has had anything like this...?

Yeah, constipation/gas can definitely cause pain like that. I've been feeling pain on my right side, I assume it's the same reason. Don't really know what to do about it... nothing seems to help much!

Yeah sounds like a bit of both trapped wind and constipation hun, i got that quite alot x

thanks girls, had it most of the day, so anyone else in the boat, you have my full sympathies, ive no idea what to do about it either, 28 week midwife app tomorrow ill see if she can suggest anything...

after 28 weeks...i experienced really bad constipation...it may be constipation if ur baby is happy...but make sure baby is not occupying ur lower bump or not pressing ur cervix...its too early...it may happen after 30 weeks...i m 35 weeks now...sometimes get confused is it baby engage..or constipation...

i cant quite figure out where baby is at mo...can feel and see body bits thru my bump but there kicking and fidgeting away quite happily...sore tummy still there tho..and still ahvent managed the loo...its rather uncomfortable

aparently if its a pain in the lower left of your stomach its because you have to use the bathroom my ex told me that and it seems to be true because once i go the pain goes away

I've read that eating Kiwi fruit helps with constipation. I find strawberries help as well. Its pretty horrible being constipated. I swing from constipation to going 2-3 times a day. I also sometimes think that baby kicks me in the bowels sending them into spasm which is pretty unpleasant. Dunno if that is true or not but sometimes after she has been really active I have gotta run to the loo.............

was at midwife today and she suggested orange juice...its gotta be better than the prune juice my aunt told me to buy.

. its VILE.
