Baby's Heart Rate?

Does your lil one's heart rate slow down as labour draws closer? Just wondering...usually my lil one has a heart rate between 140 and 150,but today it was 130. Could really be anything, sleeping, more relaxed etc. but was wondering if it means labour will be soon...LMAO maybe I'm hoping too much.

I don't know if you can take this as a sign that your little one is ready to come out yet.... but you could ask your midwife? Or you could just keep track of it and see how fast it is when you go into labour.... then get back to us if you discover a new way of telling when we're gonna pop! lol

Closer to term the baby's heart rate can go down a little but it doesn't mean that you are about to go into labor.
