39 week check up


just had my 39 week check.

head STILL not engaged properly but further down than last time.
my term +10 appointment will be on the 8th now instead of the 9th because they are closed on the saturday apparently. still measuring 2 weeks over dates!

im really fed up i was hoping that the head would have atleast been engaged!
and to top it all off ive got the worst tooth ache ever, worst pain ive ever felt in my life its that bad im actually looking forward to going into labour to take my mind off my tooth!

oh hun, bummer about the toothache, is it the throb throb throb kind or the hurt when you breath in and swallow kind?? bet you feel pants? sounds like you made a really comfy home for bubs in there lol coz she sounds so chilled with you being 39 wks and her head not 100% engaged... not long now though and youll soon be holding you perfect little bundle XX

lol its the throbbing type that hurts when you press it and even though u know its going to hurt u cant help but press it! its annoying the life out of me, ive got a dentist appointment on wednesday but last time i had treatment there i had just entered the third trimester and he put me right back on the chair and i went all hot and faint and was sick lol! xxx

Hope baby girls comes soon for you, i went over 2 weeks 4 days and had the inducing gel 3 times with my 1st i no how it feels hope you dont have to wait has long.

well my appointment is the 8th which is the friday so they will give me a sweep then wont they and fingers crossed if nothing happens they will hopefully induce me on the monday or something which will be the 11th. so the 13th is 2 weeks over my due date so i hope i will deffinatley have here before im 2 weeks over my dates lol. but if anybody has any tips on getting this baby out before im open to all ideas lol

kneeling on all fours or strading a chair or bouncing on a birthing ball are all s'possed to open the pelvis up (might be painful if you have spd) these might help her "fall" (so to speak) into the pelvic cavity..( just rang my m/w friend for you to see if she had any tips on how to get her to engage ) hope these help x
