I've had my LO but I wanted to join in to.....

Best:
Was the BFP & telling my OH
Seeing Noah on the scan for the first time when he actually looked like a person & not a runner bean
Growing my little bump in to a mega big huuuuugggggeeeee bump
Being able to buy all sorts of baby goodies
Doing the nursery & picking out theame
Feeling those first kicks & hiccups
Seeing my tummy move
When OH felt him kick for the first time
The end result
Knowing we were going to have our own little family

Worst:
Heartburn....all day.....everyday
Going off food I loved & not being able to eat food I loved
Being "touched up" by ramdom people everywhere I went
Being asked for the 10 millionth time 'How long have you got?' and then when it gets closer 'You can't have long left' and then when I was overdue 'You still not popped?'
Not being able to walk anywhere
Sciatica
Trying to get nice maternity clothes
Towards the end getting no sleep as I was so massive
Not knowing when i was going to go in to labour
Hardly any

I'm only 15 weeks in but I wanted to join in as well! Hehe

Good:
* Me and James deciding we were gonna have the baby
* Seeing it for the first time on the scan
* Telling my big sister, she was so excited!
* Thinking about names, middle names etc
* Starting to look at clothes, don't know how long I'm gona be able to resist buying some!
* Knowing that in July I'm going to be a mum

Bad:
* People asking me if I'm still with the dad. Would you ask a 30 year old woman that?? So rude!
* Like everyone else, people touching my tummy. urgh
* My over-protective older brothers not accepting the fact that I'm keeping the baby
* Having to eat EVERYTHING! I swear I'm gona have put on like 10 stone!
* Everybody asking how I'm gona manage uni and a baby
* Feeling fat and bloated

Thats all, so far! lol
We'll have to see what the next five months bring..!
xx

oh yeah, thats always a 'good' conversation starter when people say r u still with the babies dad... erm yeah, and its ur buisness because...

ive had a good few people say to me aswell oh you'll be ok alot of people have babies young these days... i never said i wasnt going to be ok and im 20 nearly 21 not 12!

the most annoying thing is people who say ive got loads of clothes there so and so's grown out of ill pass them down it'l save u buying and come in handy if ur short of money... im not a charity, just because im young doesnt mean i want ur hand me downs, lol i dont mind my dads girlfriend offering me odd bits and bobs but my dads friend at work gave my dad 2 bin bags FULL of clothes, i just sent them down the to the battered womens refuge.

Honestly there were times I thought to myself 'why do people put themselves through this?' I moaned lots through my pregnancy mainly towards the end when you just think your going to be that huge & achey forever! I stayed in so much when I was overdue & I stopped answering my phone & texts cos I was so fed up of everyone! But it was so worth it, I can't wait to be PG again!
There's no disclamer...lol!!!

Pate......I love pate, was horrible not being able to eat it!

Silly questions are funny, the best questions are the one from kids........'How did the baby get in there?' How will the baby get out?' 'What clothes will he have on?' What does he look like?' Awww, so sweet!!

I actually think the midwives a the funniest....when I turned up to my +10 they gave me a sample pot and commented on my huge bump! How the hell do they expect a 9mth Pg woman to aim their pee in to a tiny hole when I can't even see my own feet? I asked for something else and they just looked at me they didn't even have a plasic cup, seriously!!! Where's the sense in that.....they should give prizes out to the people who can "aim" first time at 9 months gone!!!

The worst thing is not knowing "when" but then the worst thing is getting the date for induction and knowing when its going to be but its also the best feeling....odd! I was two weeks overdue, got my date for hospital didn't sleep at all the night before, went in the next day & got sent home cos they were full! Had to go through it all the next day but at least I got sleep. So Noah in the end was born 16 days late!!!
I was a whale!!!

Dnt think thats an age thing I just think its a "mum" thing! We've had so much stuff given to us! My OH mums cousin who I've never met giving us all sorts even stuff we've already got like a steriliser, toys, highchair, buggie, nappies???

In the end we've kitted our mums out with spare stuff so when Noah goes there we don't have to take a load of stuff with us!
It does get annoying but I just think its people trying to be nice!

It has taught me not to "hand down" tho as I know how frustrating it is, it actually makes more work for me trying to find space for everything to go!

I know! People always ask me if I'm with him. Ok, I do realise that a lot of teenage girls do do it all alone and arn't with their babies dad. But:
1. There's nothing wrong with that, its incredible if someone can do that and the only thing I have for them is admiration and..
2. You would never even DREAM of asking for a 30 year old woman that, it's just very very RUDE. So why ask me?? Just because I'm 17 doesn't make it any better!

And when I say that yeh I am with him people act like it's such a wonderful thing he's stuck around! Like, hello! It's his baby too, not just mine. While I'm very happy and appreciate the fact he's still here, there's nothing amazing about it.

Sorry, didn't mean to rant there. Just those things really annoy me!!
