My ob always tells me to go back if i feel I don't feel right, and do not wait till I CONFIRM that the contractions are really bad, as I could already be in labour by then.
They can still stop the contractions if I check in early.

Sorry, I really don't mean to scare you, I just wanted to share....better safe than sorry.

I think if your OB does not pick up it is worth a trip to the hospital or at least a visit to your Doctor office if your cramps go away. I'm not trying to worry you but those were my signs that something was going wrong. Dr confirmed my uterus was trying to go into pre term labor and gave me medication to help relax my uterus. I hope your pain goes away soon and keep us updated. I know this can be very scary and you will feel much better if you know whether it's nothing or something!!

well it could just be the way the baby is laying. But if you are super worried it wouldnt hurt to check into delivery. I had a feeling "something wasn't right" and I waited too long. If ther's any blood or discharge or if the cramping feels like it comes and goes then def go to hospital. You will know if they are contractions. They arn't consistent. Well they weren't for me. At first they would come for about 30 seconds every 20 mins then slowly got closer together. Just before I delivered they were about 3 minutes apart almost 3 minutes long. Very painful.

Good luck keep us posted ok?

I would say that if it's still hurting for a couple hours, try calling midwife and if she doesn't answer i'd go to the hospital, it's better to be safe and a trip to the hospital can't hurt
