i have just been getting like small but sharp if that makes sence pains in my back, near the bottom and half way up aswell. i dont know if im thinking something of nothing because im looking for absolutley any sign that this baby is coming out to play ha! x

Think I know what you mean.....like a sharp/tight ache?
Before I was induced I was hooked up to the heart rate monitor thingy and the sound was down. The midwife came in and she asked if I was alright and I just said I couldn't get comfortable because I kept getting a funny pain in my back. She sat with me for a while and told me to tell her when I got the pain.......turns out I was having little contrations but just thought I had a bad back!

I'd actually been having them a couple of times a day for weeks but I just assumed it was a sore back from me being so incredably HUUUGGGGEEE!!!

At least next time I'll know!!

lol o well i hope they get worse and closer together sooner rather than later x

ive had a bad back for last 24ish hours, at the bottom right nr my coccix is that where your is jenny? and nothing i do seems to make it go away, hot shower, laying down or sitting, r u the same? x

mines slightly higher up my back near the bottom but not right at the bottom lol. its wierd it feels like im getting winded a bit haha

ouch, sounds uncomfartable, god this pregnancy lark is just a mindfield of hidden gems lol no one told me it would be this taxing, its like they make you sign a confadentiality clause before you leave hospital so that you dont frighten other mums2b haha... have you tried easing ur back with anything + did it help?

just having a lie down but the pains r coming and going, not lasting very long though x

hmmm id keep an eye on them hun, if u find ur getting more time them ( my cuz just had baby 4 .5 weeks ago and her labour started in her back) and my friend 2 labours started with back ache ( it might be i have that effect on ppl lol who knows?? ) have u noticed any other signs like nesting or (sorry tmi) increase in mucus when u go wipe or feeling a bit hormonal?

Just thought id let you know I had terrible low back ache that lasted yesterday from 5 in the mornin till this mornin and the only thing that eased it was my microwavable beanie buddy thing lol Just thought id let you know on the off chance u havent already tried this?

hmmmm i havent tried that, dunno bout jenny but i did try a hot water bottle and nada dull ache still there...
