I breastfed for a few weeks, then my dr's switched my medicine (anxiety and depression) around. And what I take is not safe for my baby. I wanted to breastfeed so badly because it was going so well, but if I'm not happy, my baby won't be either. KWIM?

Im not bothered about breast feeding in public because I know there are ways you can do it discretely. I know some people who feel uncomfortable when someone around is breastfeeding so if Im in public, I would try and sit somewhere quiet I guess. Its my OH who isnt keen on the idea of me getting my boobs out here there and everywhere. I dont think he's quite got to grips with the fact that its a natural thing for a mother to do and thats what they're there for. He's a little paranoid I guess!

I am going to try my hardest to breastfeed for as long as I can well 4 months is the max I think but if i have to give up before then, then so be it, I have bottles and everything ready incase I dont get along with breast feeding but hopefully I will be fine. I am going to buy a big shawl for myself to cover my breast and baby when feeding if we happen to be in public place as I dont agree with that being on show

I am going to bottle feed. And no MW better try and stop me!

My mum bottle fed all three of us and my sister has bottle fed her two kids and were all fine! no health problems, were not thick etc etc!

I want my OH to take some responsibility (and pleasure) in feeding the baby too.

Its down to personal preference as mentioned in previous posts!

i know im not as far gone as some of you but im bottle feeding. i dont think ill feel comfy breastfeeding,i was an F cup before i got pregnant so they are gonna be massive to get them out and breastfeed.
when i had my first midwife appointment she asked me how am i feeding and i didnt even have to think about it and said bottle feeding and the midwife seemed to be happy about it. she just said you have to do what you feel comfy with.

i dont feel guilty for bottle feeding and i dont think anyone should be guilty.

hi im going to bottle feed. i really would like to breast feed but i hate my nipple been touched. my partner doesnt even get away with doing it and i dont think i could cope with LO latched on. if formula was a health risk or what ever goverment would have banned it. these days its so close to breast milk i dont think it really matters.
