When did your baby drop?

I think my little boy has dropped already. I've felt really bad pressure/an aching pain in my lower abdomen. I looked it up, and noticed some people have dropped this early, but some dont drop until really late/never drop. I also noticed somewhere said that your symptoms, like heartburn, shallow breathing, etc, will get better. I didn't think about it until I read that, but I haven't had heartburn since I got this pressure/pain, and I used to have heartburn 24/7, and really bad.

When did your LO drop?
Is it unusual for me to drop this early?
How did you know they had dropped?

i would like to know too, because i felt my baby dropped like 1 week ago...i got funny sensations in my vagina at time when the baby moves and it felt like LO is about to drop out!
And yes, I can relate to those lower abdoman pains and pressure too...but i do remember that I read somewhere on the web that even if it's "engagement" at 32 weeks, it's fine....

With my first he dropped at 38 weeks - My bump noticably sloped down rater than being right under my boobs.

With my second, I never noticed that she dropped at all....well, not until I was in labour anyway! lol

at my 35 week check midwife said he had def. dropped and was at -2 station

but according to my mother it dropped about 3 weeks before that even ---and i kept thinking that it had and just thought i was being paranoid but turns out i was right and it had----

anyway the heartburn wasnt so bad for like a week or two but then it came back and worse than before--- so u may still have the heartburn--- i still do ===except now when it gets really bad i often choke on the heartburn and have puked from it once and had to constantly catch myself from puking again and again when it got that bad

Oh, god, I hope my heart burn doesn't come back! My heartburn used to hurt SOOO bad! I might be exaggerating some, because before I got pregger I NEVER had heartburn. But I did have quite a bit during my first trimester, and then again after my third trimester started. And the heartburn during my 3rd tri was like 20x worse than during the 1st tri.

I was describing to my mother that I had pains, and she asked if he had dropped yet? I told her I didn't know, because .. well .. how am I supposed to know that?! I've never been preggo before! but I told her I was reading on it, and thats what I thought too because I also haven't had any heartburn since then (and still haven't). But when I told me doc about it he didn't say anything, and he wasn't the one to do my check this last time, it was some new girl (which I think is just an intern).

But, I do have another appointment the 28th, and I'm definitally going to ask. I heard they usually come within about four weeks after dropping. And my mom told me it sounds like it will be soon. Which I am hoping because big babies run in both our families, and I dont think I will even be able to carry (physically) a baby thats too big as I am so small framed.

Anyways, I will quit with the book!
