37+2 also as of today, I have an appointment with my consultant on wednesday though to see if I can have an induction before my pelvis litrally snaps in half, part of me wants one so the pain will end (well I hope) whilst the other half doesn't want to force the baby to come out when she isn't ready so I'm in two minds at the moment about what to do, I guess even if I wait it shouldn't be much longer

Nope, I had a scan at 32 weeks and they said she was around 4lb1 then but I don't know now, I was only 5lb14 when I was born but my OH was 9lb so who knows what she will be by the time shes ready, I know your scared hon but you have to try and think positive, as people have said c-sections are not the easier option and you tend to suffer more afterwards, best thing to do is speak about your fears as that could be all it is, trust me i'm terrified as its my first so I know exactly how you feel about it

you can ask to see a consultant and talk through with them your reasons for wanting one, and if they think that a c-section would benifit you then they will give the go ahead, but ive been told it has to be a feesable reason ie. physically cant or emotional not strong enough i dont think they do it if its just to get out of giving birth naturally .... ill post what my consultant says on here for you if you like (if i ever get a blooming appointment ive only got 2 weeks left till i pop!!) are you nervouse too??
