Anyone suffering from restless leg syndrome?

Its driving me INSANE! Never had this with my last 2 pregnancies (or when ive not been pregnant either!) adn it is so annoying! If i sit on the couch or especially when im lying in bed my legs feel like they want to run a marathon! Thye are very agitated and there doesn't seem to be any way of stopping them. During the day i get up and move about or walk the dog (which is good for my legs but then i end up with a sore pelvic area!) but at night i just want to sleep! Once im asleep it doesn't wake me (yet?) but if anyone has this and can offer any advice / tips then i would be grateful!

Apparently if you increase your dairy intake it should improve, although might take a few days to start working.

yeah, I had it before I was pregnant (runs in the family) but have it very bad at night now. Having my feet out of the blanket and window open helps (some people find heat helps) and I take 2 paracetamol now aswell as i gets to the point where it's too painfull to bare, as it tire's out my whole body. Walking about helps, but doesn't cure it as i'm so tired from the restlessness/pain and just want to sleep! But paracetamol takes the edge off (slightly). And massage, doing cycle movements in air. Anything to tire your legs!

I am not sure i have typical restless legs as my whole body seems to get restless not just my legs (very horrible weird feeling)
I have found that horlicks before bed helps (but that might be an increase in dairy??)
Also lavender oil on my pillow, massaging legs, keeping legs arms uncovered at night, a nice relaxing walk and a bath before bed.
I have also found that the dream geni pillow helps me get comfortable.

It just started for me .. and it really stinks. My cousin told me to use bengay and that it helped her when she was pregnant. So, hopefully it will help me as well!
