Diagnosed with GTT at 39 weeks and 5 days so just had the sweep and the wait starts

Hello,

I made a post last week about them doing a test on me for GTT so late on in my pregnancy and then today I was told that I have it although it is not a really bad case. My blood pressure was high today with odema and headaches so they said that baby needs to come but he won't be effected by the GTT as it has only just started which is great news.

So I have had the sweep which was so much more painful than I ever imagined and so I have had my show and now having abdominal cramping and not sure if this is it?!!

Baby was already 2cm dialated when he went in which was good!!

Oh my gosh!! Ive had a sweep today too, and was 2cm before they started. AND Ive been losing my plus since....guess we wait it out together>??

oh you too Marg_27!!! Yep I have been loosing it ever since as well. I lost track of time and so I can only think I had the sweep about 2.30. He said after he had done it baby was 2cm dialated but don't know if that was before or after! Are you getting cramps? I have had period pain ever since and am very uncomfortable. LO is wriggling lots and can't believe he can knowing that he is dialated lol.

Good luck to you if you go into labour before you can reply!! xx

I turned down my sweep today lol for a few reasons - and now im reading you ladies are losing your plugs.Ill be kicking ymself if everyone goes into labour now.Mind you though i did turn down for the reason my Oh wont be around tomorrow....eeeekk xx

Ive been cramping since sunday lunch time, but I have noticed theyve got worse since the sweep

Im still getting loadsa mucous and theres more blood in it too

I had mine about 11:30am.
And about 2 hours ago I had a clearout (sorry-tmi).
How u feeling now??
