tsia.. i could barely get a drop before Ruby arrived, i was worried i wouldnt have enough for her after seeing how leaky some women on here were... then when she was born she wouldnt latch on so i was expressing for her, i was literally getting a few drops and feeding it to her on a tea spoon, now, 4 weeks on, im still expressing and have a HUGE supply, am able to get aprox 250ml in about 20 mins, and my previously quite flat nipples are now definatly not flat anymore lol! you will be able to do it no sweat, just takes a while to kick in sometimes

I am most intrigued to hear about expressing before birth. I was asking earlier in another thread if the amount leaked beforehand might indicate the milk flow after birth - i.e. if you leak lots beforehand does that mean a good flow afterwards?

At the moment I am leaking loads and I can express a lot by hand very easily (I've not tried it but I think I could fill a teaspoon in a few minutes but I'd be afraid of prematurely emptying my boob!). BUT oddly its only ever from one breast at a time! For a few days I've needed a pad in just my left bra side, the last couple of days only needed one in the right side! Its all very strange, so I'm just relying on nature to suddenly let down a load of milk and a good flow after LO is born!

That sounds re-assuring!
