do period pains mean the start of labour!!!!??

hi all,
Im 36 weeks gone since yesterday. last nite and this morn ive experienced quite strong period like pains that have only lasted a 10 secs or so... they have been coming and going all nite .. does this mean the start of labour or what is it???

It could be the start of labour hun, keep timing how long they last and how long the gap is inbetween xx If they get a definate rhythm to them ring your labour ward as they will more than likely get you in to check... Good luck xx
