| so much has happened today!
So Friday last week I was sent to the hospital to have my bloodwork run b/c I had consistantly high blood pressure for a few days. Bloodwork came back fine and my BP had gone back down.
So today I went into the doc's office for a follow up and I'm showing signs of developing pre eclampsia since my BP was reading high today too and I've been seeing stars, feet are swollen, etc..
so my doctor has put me on "modified" bed rest for the next few days, says I need to be lying down most of the time. I have to go to the lab tomorrow for more bloodwork bc the stars I'm seeing could be indicative of a central nervous system problem. I also have to do a 24 hour urine sample starting tomorrow morning. Then on Wednesday she's sending me to some very extensive sonogram to measure the baby, the cord, the fluids, etc... at some speciality testing center.
Then on top of all that, I'm at risk for a placenta abruption b/c I had it with my DD at 36 weeks.
So, huge chances that Luisa will come early, which is great b/c we're basically in the almost safe zone. |
