oh god.....my back is in so much pain.. i am 27 weeks 2 day pregnant, and for the last 2 weeks i have been dealing with this horrible amount of lower back pain. I have always had upper back problems due to 3 car accidents but.. this is totally different! It isn't constant pain... only when i step down on my right leg... get out of a chair..or switch positions during sleep...that one is the worst! It is hard to walk without major pain.. it does feel like a pinching in my tailbone.. but it is almost shocking each time, it hurts so much...i have no pain down my legs though...just the big pinch!!!! i can not have an x-ray....please help me... does anyone know what this is???

It's probably baby laying towards the back, or pushing back. I get this alot, kind of feels like a pinched nerve? Thats what mine feels like. Hope it gets better!

i have had this for the past few weeks, and was told that it is sciatica. but mine is more constant than what yours is sounding. maybe it is how the baby is laying.

i have also had lower back pain but its just on my right side sometimes it just aches alot but then when i move i get a shooting pain through it, im going to tell my midwife monday when i see her , ive heard sciatica shoots down ur leg too but im not 100% i also wondered if its what i had xxx

thanks guys....i guess i will just have to deal with it until my next dr. visit on the 23rd...i just wish i knew if it were something more serious.

well, if it is sciatica, they dont do anything about it!!! lol. they just told me to take tylenol which doesn't touch it, so even if you had it, you wouldn't be getting any more help than you are now!
