I work for Inland revenue (please don't hate me) and when the baby is born you could be entitled to tax credits depending on your income and that of your OH. You can get loads of help with childcare payments upto 70% paid. Regardless you will get an amount of CTC (child tax credit) if you are in UK of course.. Any CTC questions i can try and answer for all btw
