This is rediculous now ! Birth Story Added in Birth Announcement section!!

For well over a week I have been disturbed in my sleep by various pains that lead to nothing!

There have been 2 types of pain, the first feels like period is starting the second I assume is baby trying to find itself downwards, only the latter is really starting to become painful and the pressure of it flipping hurts!!!

Tonight the pressure and scratchy feeling have been so bad I have been unable to sleep what so ever which is crap considering I had 2 boisterous sons to get up with!

I can honestly say I have never felt anything like this, even in my previous pregnancies!

I really don't know how I will find the energy to go through labour with the limited amount of sleep I've been getting!

I just hope it's not one of them silent labours and I end up giving birth on the bathroom floor!!

Anyway, rant over, I'm off in the bath, only place I get some relief!!!

Well I eventually managed to fall asleep at about 6:30am ish but the pains kept coming and waking me up every so often. If it wasn't for the fact the pains were different from previous contractions I have had in my last 2 pregnancies I could have sworn I was in labour as they were occurring in waves and even though I was putting it down to baby going head down, there was severe tightening underneath my bump with each and every one!

Well this morning, I feel really off but the pains are not there any more, I know my induction date is for Friday but 2 more nights like this and I may not have the energy I need to labour successfully.

My OH thinks that I will go naturally before Friday because each night has been getting worse with last night being the worse yet. I truly hope he is right, I am soooo ready to have this baby now!

I know what you mean, I am fed up of getting my hopes up now, I just think... Oh it will be gone by morning!

I will probably be the same if labour does start, I'll just think it will amount to nothing and as said before, end up giving birth on the bathroom floor LOL.

Well I have resigned myself to the possibility that I may not sleep between now and my induction date on Friday. Again tonight the pressure pains have started up and I am unable to sleep!

I even rang the labour ward tonight because I can't take it any more and no matter how much they say 'oh it's normal' It just doesn't feel flipping normal.... feels like my stomach is going to explode open!!

The advice they gave me was to pop a couple of paracetamol (already have, didn't work) and get on all fours..... just exactly how am I supposed to sleep on all fours???

I've even started timing the pains just to pass the time, how sad am I LOL.

Anyway, tonights rant over with but may be back for more later.......
