I'm Currently Feeling: 


Constant pain


For about a week now ive had a sharp pain kinda mid-abdomin on ma right side. At first I put it down to how baby was lying but sure it wouldnt last this long It eases a little when I lie down, but doesnt go completely. Anyone else have this?

I'm Currently Feeling: 


i have this can be sum kind of infection i think when i first had it it was a water infection but i think it can be a liver or kidney infection too. its really painful tho isnt it. but i still have the pain now and i havent got a water infection or anything so i think its just the baby now x

i'd get it checked out thats one of those things they tell u to get checked if u have pain ===esp. being this far along ---better to be on the safe side---good luck

Thanks Ive got an appointment monday anyway. I was speaking to someone in work n they were saying that sharp pain in your right side is sometimes a sign of pre-eclampsia ive not heard this myself though, must check the book..

pre-eclampsia has many symptoms honey including raised blood pressure, protein in urine, severe headaches etc

yeah ive heard of all those symptons, checked the book and abdominal pain on the right side is a symptom. I doubt its pre-eclampsia tho, it would be the only symptom i would have.

It could just be discomforts of pregnancy but I would check with your midwife of physician whenever you have pain so that he or she can do the proper labwork and tests to get to the source of your pain.
