3/5 palp?????

Hello Ladies... Im 35weeks and 1day pregnant expecting my 4th baby..... Midwife came and saw me wednesday said baby head is 3/5 palp does this mean 2/5 is engaged??? And will that mean baby coming early???? Ive been experiencing alot of back pain and braxton hicks.. hoping for some advice of you ladies thank you

hey
i thought 3/5palp just meant 3/5 engaged, could be wrong.
dont think means baby will come early, was lass's baby that was 2/5 engaged for nearly 6weeks. isnt all depending on your cervix, when thats ready and thinned out then labour will start to progress

good luck!!! but i've heard u could sit at that for a while too soo its not an indicator of coming early ----but at least its progress

at my 35 week appt--- i was told i was 80% effaced (thinned out) the baby was at -2 station and 1cm dilated ---if that helps at all
