Hello ladies,

We are in the process of buying a crib for our baby. I would like to know how long the baby generally requires the crib.... one year, two years, 3 or 4...we plan to decide the sturdiness and expense of the crib based on this useful information. This is my first child hence the query. Thanks in advance!

crib is smaller, they will be o.k till 2 years, the cotbed are bigger and converts into a toddler bed

It depends on the kind of crib you buy. The smaller cribs will prob last up until 2 yrs or so but if you buy a larger crib or one of the "convertible cribs" you can use it well into their young years because they can be converted into a toddler bed and then from there into a full size bed.
