For the past two days my tummy has been REALLY upset and I've been running to the loo every hour almost. Last night my tummy was cramping enough to prevent me from going to sleep. The pains seem to come and go but I don't think it's contractions, more like bowel pains...I think

Anyways the weird part is that I noticed a strange white discharge in my uuuh bowel movement...

I am hoping my job gives me half day today so that I can go in to my doc in the next 2 hours. Do you think I should be really concerned?

It sounds like a pile to me. I get the same thing and I have one. It is mucus. I find that lots of water helps along with fiber and my midwife also has me taking white oak bark.

Thanks so much Sam! Glad to know that it's probably not something serious.

My doc said not to worry for now and to keep an eye out to see if it happens again, which it hasn't. I have an appointment on Friday so I'll be able to update her then.

It's amazing the things your body goes through during pregnancy...sigh
