Your sleeping pattern is all over in pregnancy anyway so don't worry. An unusual sleeping pattern won't harm you or baby, your body will let you know when it needs sleep and when it just doesn't. (says me who managed a whopping 2 hours last night)

I think you might be confusing it with working at night which pregnant women should not be doing. Aslong as you don't exhaust yourself, just follow the sleeping pattern you feel is natural.

a)babies can't tell what time it is in your uterus
b)nor do they care When they're born they sleep all night and day anyways, when they aren't eating/sleeping/being changed.

Just wait for when the LO is born. Then worry about the amount of sleep you're getting!

i wouldn't worry abt ur sleeping pattern...i'd go for sleep when u can for as long as u can.

if ur getting pushes on both sides baby could be laying across ur tummy...check out spinning babies website- theres a section on belly mapping (working out how baby is laying)
