I have a question

Last night at work I got some pains right below my bump. They would only happen when I was walking alot, and would only last for a few seconds.

What could this be?
Could it be Braxton Hicks contractions?
What do Braxton Hicks feel like and how long do they last?
What causes them?
Isn't it too early for me to even get Braxton Hicks?

I dont think it is contractions, they only lasted for a second or two at a time and was only painful enough to make me cringe.

Anyone have any idea? Maybe it was just the baby kicking downward? Or is this a normal ache when pregnant and moving around alot?

Hi, It feels like a tightening right across your lower bump and maybe even your back (can even go over the whole bump), you can get braxton hicks super early around 20ish weeks. It is said that it is your uterus preparing for he real thing and it can't be bad for baby to have a trial run or two they will happen more often the further along you get and they tend to happen allot more when your moving about alot. If they get painfull and take your breath away try lying down for a bit if it doesnt work and they get regular you might want to call someone but they are normal uncomfortable and often painful but normal

Hope this helps

I used to get that hun and I found it only ever happened if I over did it and didn't rest as much.....I think it is just the stretching of your muscles and you overworking them, as you really use them walking about believe it or not as the are your bumps support! x

Thanks for the replies. It probably is just the muscles, because it doesn't feel like that in my back. just right under my bump.
thanks again!

Sounds like pressure pains from your lil one as he/she may be low down. I get sharp pains at times which at times are so low I swear I'd look down and see a foot or something peaking out lol.
