Aww Layla, I've been AWOL for a few days with being too busy in the run-up to Xmas, and was looking forward to reading a birth story. You must be going stir-crazy!

Like the others have said - you have plenty of time before Sunday to go naturally. In fact, the smelling of your Mum's perfume is making me think you could go in the next day or so. I hope so hunnie.

Hospitals are geared up for this kind of thing, and even if the worst comes to the worst and you are stuck in there for Xmas Day, the kids'll be fine hun. They'll see it as some sort of adventure going to see Mummy in hospital with their new baby brother!

!
I thought that too, i lost faith in my reading skills and the whole spirit thing when she died and i did my Reiki but tonight i cant deny the smell, it was so strong and i remember it from when i was a kid, its an impulse spray and i dont wear impluse so it cant be me...if i go in to labour tonight then i will belive it was her and will belive again.

This is going to sound stupid but i need advice....

since 8.45 i have been getting tightenings/contractions every 15 mins, now they are ever 12 mins.

I have never had this before, my waters have always gone so i have been sure, at what stage do i say, right this is labour and need to go to hospital? how do i know if this is it or wether its just tighenings like the other night?

Is it when they are 7 minutes apart? Im not sure? I think thats what the midwife said to me and also if the pain becomes quite intense?

I hope this is it. Fingers crossed. Let me know either way If I dont appear in the morning. I wont be able to get on the PC in the morning I dont think... I'll be running round flustered. LoL

Oh Layla! That sounds like its labor. I would call the hospital and ask them if they would want you to come in. The back/bum pain sounds like the baby is making his way down. Good luck hon, hope this is it
