| Mum (Mom) Chat Happy BnB Member  Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Switzerland Posts: 1,000 | Baby Weight and EDD Hi Girls went to see my dr 4 days ago(was 34w) as I was not feeling my baby a lot so I went to my dr. and she checked HR and made a scan....said everything is fine. But she said that that baby's weight is 3.7lbs (1.7kg) thats sounds less to me as on internet and also other girls from bnb said that weight around this week is near to 2.5kg........but dr. said that its fine , in a range, its not a big baby nor a very small baby and I am also a bit slim so its ok for you.......... But I was worried, I had my planned appointment today and thought I will recheck it again today but she didn't made scan as I had it 4 days ago  So don't know how much baby has gained in 4 days. And then said today that I have long cycle so my EDD has moved from 6th aug to 13th aug............ I was just counting my days and now 1 more week........ I am more concern abt baby weight..........if someone had same weight at this time............thanks a lot. |

Isn't that the whole point of having a dating scan at 12 weeks? Was the dates accurate back at 12 weeks? I'm sorry I can't help you cause I haven't had a measurement scan lately but it sounds like your LO is doing fine regardless of size.  to you hun. |

I was told they get less and less accurate over time so I'd think your original due date would still stand! Try not to worry too much hun.  Easier said than done, I know. |
