I'm Currently Feeling:

Im back home...

They put me on the monitor my blood pressure came down a little and they said that they are going to induce me on Wednesday so to call the labour ward at 7am to find out what time i have to go in for...

They are doing a controlled RGA? Because bubs is not engaged and they find it highly unlikely that she will engage before wednesday they have to put me onto a drip, have a doctor hold the babys head up and assist it into the pelvis when breaking my waters as if they dont do this the chances are that the cored will fix tightly round babys neck causing problem. Uhmmm Guess they dont want to scare me too much...

I suppose that way my labour wont be too long will it? As they are going to controll it all the way through apparently.

So yeah... Im back home.. Still no baby... Still frustrated.

Xx

I had to have that done babe, Alfie just would not engage for love nor money and I was having such strong contractions, but I think he must have been hanging on to my breast bone They have to assist as when they break the waters the head can come straight down and end up trapping the umbilicol cord between baby's head and your pelvis and therefore no oxygen can get to your baby, so they hold baby's head and guide baby down safely.......sadly mine wasn't so organised as this was not all realised until I was in the throws of labour, so I found it very uncomfortable, and I actually swore at the Doctor

I really hope it all goes well tomorrow babe and they get you in and sorted ASAP!!!! Good Luck!

You will be fine babe honestly, it is all planned and they will be ready for you! You will do just great! It is so worrying at first, but you will soon be in the swing of things and doing a brilliant job!

Remember, you have a great ickle baby to look forward to at the end of it all!!! It will be worth it all!! x
