Stay strong sweets... if she's anything like her mum Alex is a little fighter and she'll be just fine. You'll be holding her and dressing her in all the clothes she's been bought before you know it. We're all thinking of you hun xxx

Congratulations hun. I'm so glad both you and baby are well. She must be a fighter like her mam. Keep us updated on how you're both doing. xx

OH brought his mum and Dad thru, his mum was in tears but she seems optimistic. Everyone does. Maybe i'm just so scared.

Me and my cousin went to see her. She was crying, silently, her eyes closed, it was so disturbing. I just wanted to help her. I just want to reassure her.

I'm in my room just now online with my mobile, trying to chill. OH is away home for some sleep. I can't say he hasnt been a rock for me in the last 24 hours.

I can't also say it was 100% the stress that caused it though. Upon hindsight i should have known something was up. The 'thrush' swelling that just wouldn't shift, the difficulty walking in the last two weeks, the sickness that started on monday before all the drama happened, my temp at night, and the total discomfort.

Can't believe i was only pregnant for 6 months. I am pretty lonely without my bump and her kicks. She looks exactly like the 4D scan. Her fingers are just a centimetre or so long. So scary.

By the way, if you get the option of an epidural, take it. What a saver, if it works right. And if you think somethings not right, don't ever brush it aside. Act on it no matter HOW little. No one believed it was contractions last night until i screamed the place down and the cursing started.

In answer to another question- i had sweet F.A ready for hospital. But really, without LO beside me, i don't need an awful lot. Just clothes and maternity towels. OH had to go out and buy a cheap tracksuit and bits this morning for me. I've got clothes for her here as gifts but they're no good to her just now.

Can't believe the day started with counselling, had a wander to the shops, felt stronger for the first time in days.sat reading a book about what to expect in week 28... Well it never told me that...

All i can say is i i'm glad i shaved my legs yesterday.
Cant believe it still Sandi.. you had your baby before me!

Glad all is well so far. Baby Alex must be so dinky but a right little fighter I bet.
Hope you get some much needed rest and recouperation time.. and some quality one to one time with her.

Has the hospital advised breastfeeding? Or is she being tube fed? dont quite know when theyre 28 weeks old only.
Whichever.. hope she continues to grow and put on weight and you'll be taking her home before you know it. x

much much love to you Sandi. x

Hun someone I know had a little girl at 27 weeks and yes she had to stay in hospital until she was healthy enough for the outside world and it was touch and go, she had infections etc it was very up and down but now she is a very normal 2 year old. Best wishes and congratulations xx
