Do you not get pics taken in the hospital wherrst portraite you are? They are called first portrait here .... Mine however were bloody awful! I rang up and asked them to send me the prints of the other pictures they took to see if I like them. Failing that I will get my own done!

They dont do pictures in the hospital like that here. You are allowed to bring a camera and take your own pictures, if you want them, at the hospital.

Our pictures were better than the ones they done! I was gutted at the ones they sent us!

That's really strange, in my home state of Texas they do the first portraits. I guess it just varies state to state.

hmm.. I dont know, that makes me wonder because I live in Tennessee; but have never heard of them doing that.

Info wasn't too great on these pics prior to birth infact I think I came across one leaflet ones at ANC which was behind lods of others then I seen the info on the board on the postnatal ward the morning after her arrival then the woman came round. Its only certain days though here rather than every day so it might be worth you asking about them

I think I will ask!! Even though they might not turn out so great it's still worth asking about!
