She has just been, everything looks fine, he is now messureing 2 below my dates so it looks like i may have alot of fluid instead of a big baby which im pleased about, shes said he defo wont make 9lbs like Coby did.


She did a sweep....its not good, im not favorable(sp?) atall, she said im 3cm dliated but thats normal for someone weho has had more than 1 baby, my cervix is still very far back and thick. Baby has also moved out of my pelvis...i knew that for myself coz i cant feel him down there and my heartburn has come back.

Next stage now is the consultant apoointment on my due date, the 18th. have another sweep and get an induction date.

My MW thinks they will prob induce me before xmas, around the 20th but of course she cant be sure, it asll depends on the consultant and the hispital.

So yeah, im going overdue, dont think he will be coming out anytime soon

At least you know if he isnt gonna show on his own then you still know when he will be told to get out

yeah im ok about it, i really belive things happen for a reason so what will be will be, he is just not meant to be here yet.

This is the last time i will ever be pregnant so its nice to just sit and enjoy it

Sorry to hear things havent gone such as planned. Glad to hear you're still thinking positive about it though...

Fingers crossed they will get you in before Christmas...

Did she give any explanation as to what they twinges you were feeling are or does she just think its your body starting to prepare for the labour??

So Tuesday is your appointment? Surely you could ask them if they would be able to get you in before xmas? Suppose there is no harm in asking.

Well good luck for Tuesday but anything could happen really in the mean time.

I do hope that he comes before Xmas for u hun, but like u say what will be will be.

she said the pains are prob my body wanting to go in to labour but my cervix doesnt lol

SHe thinks i will be given a date on tuesday for induction and says it will prob be around the 20th, they dont like people in over xmas time and i can stress i have other children at home i need to be with.

Oooh my induction dates the 19th if nothing happens before, Its in my notes. It just need arranging? So not sure how that works.

when are you due to see someone next? sorry if you have said already, my memory is bad at the mo.

The dates are just a rough guess by my MW, it will be the consultant who has the final say, i have a horrible feeling i will be given a date for inbetween xmas and new year, think i tmight be just wishful thinking on behalf of me and my MW that it will happen before xmas.

I will really stress to her that id like him out before so i can spend xmas at home with my kids, but if there is no medical reason then she might not agree

Monday I next see some one for another sweep so MW will arrange it then but the doctor has put in my notes to be induced at 12 days over due.

I'm pretty sure I will still be here on monday, Still feeling no signs to be honest.

Also says in my notes baby is a clinically good size. what the hell does that mean?
