bloody show??

hey all!

well i had a sweep on wednesday and since have been getting IRREGULAR contractions been ignoring them so far lol..
umm woke up this morning and went to the loo and when i wiped there was a mucusy bloody show (tmi sorry lol) went to day unit cause they asked me to lol and found out im 3cm dilated..
just wondered for anyone whos had their show when did labour start after??

Hey
With my daughter i had my bloody show at 9pm boxing day. Rung labour ward to confirm it. Woke up at 7am the day after & started with regular contractions. Nothing painful but could just feel the tightning. They were coming every 20mins lasting 20secs. Saw my MW for my 38wk appt at 10.30am, she sent me to day unit as my BP was high as normal.
Told i had pre eclampsia so got given a sweep at 1.30pm. I was 2cm, contractions immediatly went every few mins lasting 40-60secs.
4pm i was 4cm & moved to labour suite.
8.30pm waters went, 10cm & baby ready to come.
10.37pm baby arrived!

Try to keep as active as possible. Keep eating & if poss maybe try a DIY sweep to speed things along.

when i had my first i didnt have a show :S dont know what to expect with this one... broke ten minutes before i pushed her out too

My sister lost her plug around 3pm, went to hospital with contractions at 5pm...baby at 10pm. That was her 2nd though....

I lost my plug 2 weeks before i went in cuz i thought i was leaking.
i was, so they broke my water. and then i had the rest of my plug come out with show in it. and had her later that afternoon

i had my show at about 11 at night and had my son at 6.30 in the morning

I lost my plug with a little show a little over 2 weeks ago, but I think it's from my cervical exam. Still no baby for me.

My cousin had her show, then had her baby a few hours later.

a plug and a show r 2 different things you can lose your plug and labour could still be weeks off whereas a bloody show means that labour is imminent
