i think they said it was the core of the pinapple---the hard part that nobody really eats ---but i guess sucking on it would do the same---

lets see add to that list primrose oil
speed bumps...
sweeps

Under normal circumstances you will only be offered a sweep at 41 weeks.

I know im also impatient and also want my baby, I see your reasoning but I really dont think that it can be overly healthy to try and force labour upon yourself or your child unless you really need to in which then it would be taken into the hands of the midwives or NHS.

Im sure your OH wouldnt want you to do anything either that may put yourself or baby at risj especially if he is undergoing an operation himself.

Rasperberry leaf tea etc arent to induce labour they are to help ripen the cervix making labour and birth easier.

Again with the pineapple its not the core that should be eaten, Pineapple works as a laxative which is why it is recommended but it dosent mean it will work and for it to work as a laxative you have to eat a substantial amount.

Sorry to be a kill joy, I know we all get impatient. Im the first to admit but nature will take its course when bubs is good and ready x
