34 weeks MW appointment

I had my 34 weeks check up today.

I told her all about my pelvis, hips and leg pains and she was very helpful. She told me to take paracetamol for a few days, every 4 hours, and if that doesn't help I should go to see my GP who can prescribe something safe but a little stronger. So i'll see how it goes I suppose. If for any reason it gets a lot worse or even the stronger painkillers don't work she told me to get back in touch and they will refer me to a physio. However she also pointed out that as I only have 4-6 weeks left, it's up to me if I just want to grin and bare it. I'm just grateful she didn't fob me off with the usual line of "they are usual pregnancy problems, just rest and put up with it".

Everything else was normal, bloods pressure and urine dip. I'm measuring 33cm and 34 but thats pretty much been a consistancy throughout so she's not concerned. The baby is head down, which is great news. I thought I felt him physically turn last week but wasn't sure.

Next appointment .... 36 weeks time is certainly flying by now.

Hope everyone is okay
Naimi xx

Glad all was well. If the pain dosent subdise, i'd certainly see the physio. I was offered to see the physio at 37-38 weeks and thought it be pointless but i wish I hadnt turned it down now, The pain in my pelvis and top of my legs are horrendous. x

Thanks everyone.

Quick update, been taking paracetamol every 4 hours and I must admit it has helped with the pain a bit. In the evening it still hurts and during the night, but I should imagine thats because it's the end of the day and my body is tired in general from the extra weight.

Hope you are all well xx
