Going home outfit?

I'm due middle of July, so the chances of it being hot and humid are pretty likely (although with this recent weather who knows!). As we know, when babies come out they are brrrrr so cold because they were in our warm womb for so long! So with that being said, what should I dress baby in? A nice warm outfit or a more summery outfit? i just don't know if they will be adapted to our climate yet? Ahhh there's so many things to think about! haha

I was thinking the same thing hun. Im due 27th July, but im in England so chances are the weather wont be that hot!

I thought something summery but then take a blanket for the ride home, just in case??

Be interested to know what everyone else is doing.

I'm due early august and I plan on dressing LO in a little summer dress. It is usually in the high 90's here around that time so I figure it is appropriate enough for her.

I have bought a wee velour suit from mothercare, and have a homemade knitted cardie from Grandma, and a blanket that i can put over top of car seat if need be and i will pack a hat just in case lol

I'm due at the start of August and am planning on bringing LO home in a babygrow and a cardie. We'll have a shawl/blankie too in case it's a bit on the chilly side.

I haven't bought anything

Its DFs job to go and buy something once LO is here so he can choose depending on weather

That's a good idea! Especially so than you can always remember that DF picked it out special for LO.

Especially with you being on team yellow!

We're doing a sleeper, then a blanket if needed. I read somewhere that you need to dress them as you would dress yourself, plus one layer. Anyone else heard this???
