Who has been signed off work?

Hello

Just a bit curious, who has been signed off work and if you have how long from and what for...??

Sorry if its a bit personal but i am really struggling at work, i am so tired (i nearly fell a sleep on the loo just).. after a couple of holidays at the end of this week i have 2 more weeks and i am so tired and uncomfortable but i can't change my dates. It also doesn't help with not being able to sleep.

I do have low BP and Iron levels which also doesn't help but i was wondering if it would be worth seeing my doctor this week...

I am starting to lose patience with people at work and its also quite a stressful job

Thanks...

I was signed from about week 24 for SPD. I didn't return as my Occupational Health department said I only could if I worked somewhere without stairs (which was impossible) and so my work couldn't accomodate me.

It is worth bearing in mind that most places will insist you start your maternity leave 28 days before your due date if you are still off work with a pregnancy related sickness at theat point - this happened to me but I think I'd have wanted to finish by then anyway!

Look after yourself and the baby, if you need a sick note and need rest do it!! Good luck

Thanks.. i am due to finish 4 weeks before anyway so if they were to start me it wouldn't be too bad.. i would lose some holidays though :0(

I will see what the doctor says, by 3.30 my back and ribs are in agony as well so maybe its worth talking to my employer about reducing my hours for hte next couple of weeks also... I will also go to the doctor nd see what he say's...

Thanks guys!

I was signed off from 7 weeks due to SPD. I work in a large college so Occy Health said I was unfit to work as they worried I would be knocked over by the students, so been at home since...........

I was signed off at 16 weeks due to stress and bullying at work. I've been off for 5 weeks and have another week before my hearing. It looks very unlikely that I'll be going back!
