Movement.

I know that you're supposed to watch for little irregular baby movment. IE 10 movements between 9am and 9pm but...

I seem to be having ALOT of baby movement. Which I dont usually get. especially during the day. I always tend to get most movment on a night...

Do you think she is just having an active day or something?

Its nothing to worry about is it?
Im at MW tomoro morning any ways. Just though i'd see what you guys think as she hasnt stayed still for the last few hours or so.

You should be okay BabyBean, sounds as though lil one may just be having a very very good day today. Perhaps your lil one had so much rest yesterday that they have a lot of energy today. Try not to worry though I know it's hard because we always want to know things are ok.

On another note, your so close to you due date, I bet you are super excited or probably have been for a while. What do they do at MW appointments in late 3rd tri?

I am very excited about being this close to my due date but also im feeling impatient as these last weeks i have been in agonising pain with my legs but I was also hit by a car when i was 14 and left with permanant hip damage so the pressure becomes quite unbareable some days but it will all be worth it.

Im possibly not the best person to ask as i feel like my midwives have fobbed me off a little. Apart from I got to see two different ones last week due to high blood pressure who were a little more upbeat about things and not the miserable bunch i usually see.

They pretty much do the same from 26 weeks. Blood Pressure. Ask if you have had any sort of symptoms relating to pre-emclampsia, check waters for protein. Have a feel of your tummy and listen to babys heart beat.

Birth Plan at 36 weeks was exciting. It sort of makes you realise you're quite close now and discussing what you want for the delivery of your child is every thing goes to plan is great.

Xx

ya thats all they've done for me---kinda feels pointless to go to these appointments but i'm going anyway just to keep on the safe side and at least they'll more likely catch anything before it happens..

these appts. have basically been five-ten min. sessions in which all they do is measure belly...listen to baby heartbeat....and take my blood pressure

Don't worry about the extra movement, with both of mine they never slowed up at all right til the end, infact my induction had to be posponed with my 1st because she was too active! x
