i have been getting braxton hicks for a couple of nights now, with each hick i get strong pressure in my bum.

i have started getting them this morning too, so they are getting more frequent (i have only got them over night, not during the day too)

I have lost alot of my mucus plug and i just feel really uneasy.

I phoned my MW office to ask for a home vist coz im a bit worried and im not due to be seen for another week, but they wont see me, they said coz im going to an out of area hospital i have to phone up there delivery siute.

I dont want to bother them coz im not in labour, i just want to be checked out to see whats going on with these tightens.

Im so scared im going to go the same way as my mum, on her 4th she had pressure, thought she needed the loo so went but ended up giving birth to my sister within mins on the bathroom floor.

Im not sure what to do, just sit and wait it out, see what happens, to phone and bug the delivery ward

hun if its worrying u then phone and bug the ward at least they might be able to reassure u if nothing else

I'd call them hun. Surely they have a day assesment unit there who can have a look into it for you. Even if you just ask them what you should do im sure they wouldnt mind. X

i phoned the hospital in the end, they want me to go in and be checked, i doubt its anything so i will feel really stupid if i waste tehre time, but at least i know will whats going on.
