I get this a lot - think it's fairly common in pregnancy. My MW said that the best way to tackle it is to continue brushing your teeth as normal, perhaps use a softer bristle toothbrush. I have also been using an antiseptic mouth wash - MW said I could use Corsodyl but I have been using Listerine cos it was cheaper and on offer in the supermarket. I found the regular brushing (sometimes I brush 3/4 times a day - cos of the sicky taste I get from heartburn) coupled with the mouthwash really helped.

It goes once youve had the baby. I get it bad too, look like a vampire after i've brushed my teeth who's just had a victim!

Mine bleed every time I brush. Awful. Looks like someone punched me in the mouth. They also bleed if I try to eat something like an apple. Can't wait until it goes away, too.
