I'm Currently Feeling: | Just took castor oil... I took castor oil about 45 minutes ago. It was recommended by a few people and women on all the forums i use talk about it a lot.
Some say it works, some say its too risky and some say it does nothing.
I haven't had any effects from it yet i just wanted to know everyones opinions on it. I'm sure some of you are going to tell me off.
I'm only 37+2 but i am so desperate for this baby to come before xmas.
Following my, castor oil experienced, cousins instructions, I drank a 100ml bottle mixed with about the same in pure orange juice. Didn't taste of anything and wasn't what i expected at all.
Not that bad if any of you are wanting to try it but have been put off by the tale of it tasting awful.
Let me know what you all think. I would love some feedback. Even if its not so positive. (wish me luck if you can find it in you though) | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I am not going to tell you off but I was detered from taking castor oil as it can make baby poo in the womb or during birth, so I really wouldn't advise taking any more babe, as that can be dangerous! And baby will not come until ready, I wanted to try everything in the book, but my consulatant actually said to me "your baby is in an oven and until he is baked and ready he is staying in there" So let that be a lesson to ya On a good note, you haven't got long now babe x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | OOOh hold out your hand for a slap. Told by my consultant castor oil was a no no. Has a laxative effect on baby and on you, and doesn't work in his experience. Just have to wait for baby to appear when good and ready, I know this can be sooooo difficult. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hmm I would think that everything you ingest, baby ingest too so that may be a bit harsh for baby no matter the concentrartion. Your lil one will come when they are ready hun, just try to concentrate on having a healthy pregnancy. You have come so far, not too long to go ok hun. |
